During the months of October and November 1998, the 12th edition of the La Nación Intercollegiate Games was held. Participating competing and expressing themselves aesthetically, allowed Educational Institutions and their students to share and exchange the values of sport, healthy sacrifice and fair competition.
In this edition the disciplines that were developed were the following: Sports: chess, athletics, basketball, cross country, soccer, artistic gymnastics, handball, field hockey, swimming, rugby, softball, tennis and volleyball. Cultural: posters, choir, literary text, photography, spots, murals, journalism and theater.
